Very dangerous and would have started a fire if I hadn't seen it happen. **Q: Why doesn't mine work after winter water just goes through the whole body of the case** A: Did you winterize the heater over winter? Did you remove all hoses in and out? If not it has probably popped a pipe due to water being left in it and freezing. As it's freezed it's split an internal pipe causing you to see what you have now water running through the case. I had the same issue and luckily I have been able to repair it but if you don't know anyone that can weld or in this case I soldered the splits. The unit will be rendered useless and it's worth no more than scrap unfortunately.
