With it I used the 60 wt bobbin thread, with great results (I decresed the tension on the machine more than usual). It is super glossy, so if that works with your design, this is a good choice. However, if you want to sew on a button, or do other stitching (by hand or on a machine) this is not the kind of thread you need.
