This was a gift to me from me. The set works great on store bought large eggs. I wish it worked better on home grown smaller eggs too but their size is inconsistent as well as the shell thickness. This is not the product’s fault. The set is made well. Once I learned how to use it by lifting the spring loaded top and releasing it to crack the shell it was fun to use. The cups are light weight even though made of metal.
