Your hand can move the head and mouth only. However, it is a great puppet, very well made. I have been entertaining my dog with if for over a year and it is still looking good. My dog a little Westie loves his pig. We call it Wilbert. **Q: I'm planning on getting this puppet for remaking 'Charlotte's Web'. However, do you use your fingers for the puppet or is it like a normal puppet?** A: It's like a regular puppet the mouth is what opens and closes with your fingers. A great buy and it would be perfect for what your doing. **Q: Can a large man work this puppet?** A: Yes, i see no reason why a large man could not use this. It's a good size puppet and my husband, who is 6'1" and 225 lbs. is able to use it with our grandson. It's absolutely adorable. All of these Folkmanis puppets are terrific. **Q: what tipe of pig is it** A: I do not know what type of a pig this is but its a great puppet. I have more than a year of fun with it with my little dog who loves it. He has ripped up other toys of his but not this one.
