We drink a smoothie every morning, so it gets daily use. Drink comes out smooth and no chunks of nuts remain un-blended. I was very pleased for the five months we've had it, until yesterday morning when it just wouldn't turn on. I tried other outlets, and when I'd flip the switch and gently turn the dial, NOTHING! I was very disappointed. Contacted the company that provided the extended warranty, and they put me in touch with the manufacturer. E-mailed them my problem, and they replied with the solution: turn off, unplug, and press 'reset' button on the bottom of the unit. Wait 20 minutes, then test with regular ingredients. It worked perfectly. So now, I'm not only pleased with the unit itself, but also with the timely support I received from BlendWorks.Do pay attention to the instructions that you must never turn the unit on or off unless the blending dial is turned completely to the left to the 'off' position. So, turn on the 'ON' switch, gently and slowly turn the blend dial to the right, when done, slowly return blend dial to the left (STOP), then lastly turn 'OFF' the power switch. If you follow these instructions, you should enjoy the power of this blender with no problems.I have only one complaint about the canister. The 'lip' where you pour your blended liquid is very wide, and allows smoothie to drip after you finish pouring, even if you try to catch the 'drop' on the edge of the glass. A small thing, for sure, but if anyone from BlendWorks is reading this, maybe you'd consider narrowing the pour spout. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars and Vitamix - they were very good and very very loud almost deafening *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2017* ok i have used this blender for about 2 weeks. I have owned several over 375.oo blenders in the past i.e. Blendtek, and Vitamix - they were very good and very very loud almost deafening . I had never heard of Blendworks ? but the reviews were so good i decided to purchase it as my Blendtek housing started to leak after about 4 years.this machine is obviously built very well. Every part has a professional solid feel to it. It has a very solid rubber base and Its switches make sense - its design is well thought out. It juices very well. One of the most impressive things to me is that this 2.5HP machine - is about 80% more quiet than any other blender i have ever owned. With other blenders I have almost lost my hearing when its on high - with this blender its just amazingly more quiet. I don't know how they make it so quiet relatively --and it juices very well for me --thus far very happy with my purchase and hope it last for 3+ years is my goal :) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Initially great, but broke after only a few months. UPDATE: Great Customer Service *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2018* We bought this at the end of February because our last blender, which lasted years, finally broke down. We only used this BlendWorks blender for smoothies. Initially it worked great, much quicker than our last blender to break down the components and create delicious smoothies. However, two days ago my wife was using it and hear a clunk sound and the blades stopped moving. This was annoying because we ended up having to throw out the mix we were using as it was partially blended. From what we can tell the base works just fine, but there is a piece we can't get to between the base and the blades that is no longer causing the blades to turn when it's turned on. We are very disappointed that only about five months in and this expensive blender is broken.Update to original review: I reached out to BlendWorks customer service folks and they have been nothing but great to deal with! They will be shipping me out a new jug to replace the broken one and have also let me know that should that not resolve the problem, that they would certainly replace the whole unit. I have dealt with some really awful customer service departments recently so this is immensely refreshing to deal with a company that cares!
