Mentioned it to my doctor and her response was "I can give you pain pills".....not what I wanted, so time to fine an alternative. I talked to a friend who is a PT and he recommended this device, and after a couple of days of using it the results are noticeable. Now, a couple of caveats. this is the 35lb weight version, so some people may find it too much to handle, but there is also a 25lb version that would be easier to use. The second thing is watch the video on this listing, it show exactly how to use it, as the instructions that come with it are very comprehensive, but not that easy to understand. The last thing is the photos appear to show the arms at full stretch, and unless you have a lot of arm strength, this is not going to happen, but you don't actually need to extend your arms fully to get the benefit, it's only a 3 second stretch repeated several times.
