It has a nice smell and adds texture to my fine hair. It doesn’t take very much, a pea size amount since I have a medium pixie hair cut. You do have to rub the product between your hands to thin it out before applying to your hair. If you try to add it straight to your hair without rubbing onto your hands it will clump up your hair. I like that the product has a matte finish because I don’t like my hair to look overly shiny. If you don’t use too much of the product your hair won’t get stiff.
