They move with you, eliminating any readjustment of an unattached foam device. This ankle pad sometimes slips off your foot in bed, but otherwise this small pad provides a lot of comfort in cushioning the contact between your legs without disrupting sleep and movement. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great for peroneal tendon pain too! *by H***Y on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2018* I'm a side sleeper and use the PalliPartners Pull-On Ankle Cushion with the cushion on the *outside* of my ankle to help with peroneal tendon pain. For mild pain, this alone can provide relief and possibly even prevent pain from getting worse over time.For more severe peroneal tendon pain, I'd recommend using this in conjunction with the Healwell Cub Night Splint (be sure to get the correct size and sideβ€”left or right).Here's my set up, in case it's helpful (photo included):First, I wear a leg warmer over my foot and ankle, to provide padding between my skin and the night splint. The open toe of the leg warmer keeps this set up from being too hot. If the leg warmer has a seam, I wear it inside out and put the seam on the inside of my foot/ankle, running just behind the ankle bone.Second, I wear the Healwell Cub Night Splint over the leg warmer.Third, I wear the PalliPartners Pull-On Ankle Cushion over the ankle portion of the night splint, with the cushion on the *outside* of the ankle. Both are super comfortable, even for sensitive people like me. The only thing that I'm not so crazy about with this cushion is that is slides off my ankle really easily. When I wake up in the morning, it's usually pushed up my leg a bit and no longer cushions my ankle bone.
