I wanted to stabilize a sink drainer because it wobbled, slid, or fell over when jostled. Erg!!! I got these Neodymium N52 super-strong magnets with a countersink hole from Amazon. The sink I was attaching to is stainless steel (magnets just say, meh!). But magic happens when you place a corresponding magnet on the back side of the sink wall (mating magnet doesn't need to have a countersink). Whack! These magnets become alien life forms and snap into place with a vengeance. Awesome! With two of these anchor sets mounted, this drainer thingy doesn't budge. Physics rocks! Also they are too strong to use as fridge magnets. I got these for myself and a friend to mount on the end of a wood hiking staff for hunting meteorites. (which we haven't done yet) They were easy to mount on the staff using a #10 brass wood screw. Here is a little hint: don't order brass wood screws on-line because they are VERY expensive. I saw them priced at nearly $5 each.
