Upon disassembling and reassembling it, it started running roughly. This new one I ordered runs extremely smooth and has a smoother eye mechanism. Now I'm using my old one for spare parts. As always, great model from Bachmann.

**Q: Is this train able to deliver to Taiwan now?**
A: No idea

**Q: Is this a digital engine? Will it run on analog track?**
A: Not DCC or DCC ready, can be manually fitted with a DCC chip will run on DC track - not DCC

**Q: How often dose he jump the rails on an oval**
A: This one doesn't jump the rails hardly ever.  I suppose if you made a super tight oval it might if you go high speed, but on our large oval, it stays on even at high speed.  James is a different story because he needs to be weighted down

**Q: Do they easily convert to dcc?**
A: No, the decoder will need to be hardwired in.

I bought a replacement Bachmann Percy after my old one was experiencing problems with the eye mechanism. Upon disassembling and reassembling it, it started running roughly. This new one I ordered runs extremely smooth and has a smoother eye mechanism. Now I'm using my old one for spare parts. As always, great model from Bachmann.

Opened the package, put it on the track, cranked the power and off it went! great low speed and reasonable high speed. not too fast, but fast enough that my kiddo is always on his toes. Great engine, will likely end up buying more engines from this line if they are anything like this one and the LBSC 70
