Installation was relatively easy - had yo use the capacitor here in the UK as no neutral wire available. Which was a pain as I had to take down one of the two light fittings that the switch controls and put the capacitor in parrallel to the light supply (i.e. across the light connections). I wasnt sure that this would prevent flickering across both light fittings but it most certainly did. I dont know if the fact that both light fittings have 3 x 5w LEDs in them helped as the current draw is much reduced. Wifi connection proved to be a little harder, but once I realised that I had to temporarily disconnect all bluetooth connections on my phone (I had a connection to my watch) the pairing of the switch to the WiFi network was sorted in no time. The switch was immediately recognised by desertcart Alexa and is easily controlled by either the Smart Life app or Alexa. Overall impression is money well spent it looks good, functions very well (super responsive), and was relatively painless to install and set up. Review: Too fat. Spacers needed. Work well once fitted correctly. - 1 works. The other was harder to make work, Forced to make one review for 2 different items. The singe switch: It is too fat to fit into the box set Into the wall. Fortunately I am not the only person to have ever had this issue. Spacers can be purchased to get round this. So I did. The 2 switch version was harder. Won’t pair to the app, and when the lights are ‘off’ one of the lights glows faintly. When turned on the switch turns off after about 5 seconds. Ah. Got it to work. Have to fit the funny little yellow thingy correctly. Overall I am happy, but it did take a while to get them wired in and working. They are for me, money saving. I have on occasion forgotten to turn lights off before going to work. No point in having the bathroom or living room lights on for 9 hours while I am work. I simply programmed them to turn off weekdays at 8am.
