The build quality and finish are above board. I also have the longer 32" Spider Crab Support Rod and this arm, although not as long or tricked out, seems to be sturdier than its bigger brother. Probably because there are fewer points of failure and articulation to contend with. This thing stays exactly where you put it and holds a kitted-out M50 with no issues. Built like a tank, this thing will last you forever. It should because you pay a premium for it. I did remove the cold shoe adapter and swapped it for a Smallrig clamp (the iF one was not available as a separate purchase yet) as I'm not a fan of stressing out the hot shoe on a camera in the way it's pictured. Review: Buy once, cry once - Great Product! - This is a game changer from iFootage. A solid camera mount, or for any other related devices. The Spider Crab can grip onto most anything. Be advised though.... you will need to purchase the clamp separately, it's an iFootage product as well.
