Great purchase for myself. I bought this for my girlfriend who lives in a different city. We set it up last week during the holiday and it was easy and convenient to set it up. You do need a monitor to use as the "tv" to see what is on the camera. I would suggest following the manual or otherwise, you would spend much more time. One set it up, you also need to download the app. The app is pretty self-explanable. After setting up, you are pretty much good to go. The picture is really clear on the camera during the day. At night, it is working ok, good enough to see what is going on. Obvious it is not military night-view camera. You would also need to buy a big HDD to record everything. Overall the build quality is good, the image is clear, it is definitely worth it, especially considering the price tag. I would recommend to everyone who is looking for a home security system under 100 bucks. I would update later when I next time visit my girlfriend and she has any complaint. So far, everything was perfect!
