But if you are not understanding that diagram, the best thing is to, ask specific questions about your application through contact the seller. **Q: Will this work on car audio running 5000 watts rms and pulls around 150-250 amps** A: I am not 100% sure but I do not think it will. This thing is only rated for 10 amps maximum and says to run it through a 10 amp fuse. I have an electric bike (motorcycle) that runs on 100 amps but the 100 amps is what it is rated not what runs through it all the time. This gauge works on my setup but I have not maxed out the current (amps) yet. You could always get it and run it on a 10 amp fuse then crank up your system. If it keeps blowing the fuse you haven't hurt it and could send it back. It is a nice high quality gauge. I hope this helps. **Q: One more question: How much current does this draw, I'm worried about it draining the battery when the solar panel isn't putting out. Thanks!** A: If it is being powered by your solar panel it is not drawing anything from the battery. It draws 10 ma. to operate. **Q: Can i purchase the mounting bracket and for how much?** A: We do not sell them separately on Amazon.
