The 15L is pretty good for a day pack, 24 hour pack or whatever. It'll fit in most any backpack on the market, and is perfect to keep everything that needs to be waterproof nice and dry. Instructions, take back pack. Use outer pockets for stuff that isn't harmed by water. Put dry clothes and down bag, medical kit, fire kit, and food in bag -- squeeze out air, roll up and clip. Put Tarps, tent stakes, cordage, poncho, etc. on top and close up the ruck. The material is what you think of for a floating inflatable innertube or kayak. Seems durable. The bag will be very useful to protect items from outdoor elements when camping or participating in outdoor sports. It's also nice to have a detachable strap.
