It's not very large **Q: does the globe spin around or is it stuck in one position?** A: Yes it does spin. I think this is a lovely globe for home décor. Not too big - not too small. Fits nicely on my fireplace mantle or side table. **Q: Could you stick pins in this globe?** A: I am not sure..it was a gift to my young grandson. I will see if I can find out. **Q: As someone said its hard to see and maps dont line up?** A: The maps on my globe line up. I purchased several globes and this is the one I kept.
