If you short-press it for 1 second, you can turn on the laser module with weak light. It is commonly used for simple testing. **Q: Can this machine cut through a 1/8 inch thick fluorescent acrylic plexiglass sheet? For example, could I cut out a shape?** A: I never tried it but it probably can. It cuts through 1/8” plywood. You’d need to experiment with speed and power settings to cut and not melt.
