That holds true with ADAPTOGEN's concentrated Inner Beauty Boost tonic. IBB arrived in a sealed dark plastic bottle, but a very small amount had seeped out, perhaps due to pressure differentials during shipping. Otherwise all is well, but I'd hate to waste any given the cost (about $1.50 per serving).The description on this page does a good job of touting IBB's benefits, so I won't rehash that. Enough said that it benefits skin and gut health, and can even help provide some added energy without many calories. A tablespoon diluted in 150ml water is suggested and I like it. It has a mild flavor that is both fruity and nutty. It is very easy to drink and also mixes well into a fruit smoothie. You could just down the spoonful, but the Stevia is a little overpowering that way so why not just enjoy it as a chilled drink?It is hard to quantify the benefits, but thus far my hair and skin are looking and feeling good, as is my digestive system.Refrigerate after opening. When I first opened the bottle, it had a strong herby, medicinal smell and did not taste anything like raspberries, to me. Every time I tried to mix this in with water, I just ended up with bloat and an unset stomach. Can’t say why exactly, but I know it is something in this inner beauty booster. Also 9.2 carbs seems kinda high to me for 1 serving of this. I am low carb, not necessarily keto, but I think 9 carbs is a lot given the portion size of 1 tablespoon. This just wasn’t for me or my needs. I thought this might be a more enjoyable way to get my adaptogen in for the day as well as get a dose of pro/pre-biotics.The flavor of this when mixed with just water is mildly fruity and pleasant. However it has a fairly strong stevia aftertaste to it. I looked at the ingredients to get a sense of what was in this and sure enough, Stevia Leaf Extract is in there. However, I was surprised to find that the ashwagandha in this was actually a combination of root/leaves. When I got this I did not realized this since I usually avoid ashwagandha leaves which is higher in Withaferin A - a substance that is cytotoxic. This is why most ashwagandha on the market is typically made with root preparations, not leaves.
