The author did a good job balancing the content and picking the most popular bugs to cover. The tomato hornworm is covered, but not tobacco hornworm. But that's just a little detail I can easily gloss over. Although the text is small, the illustrations are so good that they hold his attention while I read to him. His favorite pages are the tomato hornworm, banded woolly bear caterpillar, ladybug, and katydid.
