Review: Best tracer unit I've had - I've had a few tracer units over the years and all have been pretty poor. Either don't like to hold charge or are fiddly to turn on and get to the right setting. This one however is fantastic. I never bother to turn it off and it gets used once or twice a month. Sometimes it's still got enough charge to be used again, even though it's been in sleep mode for a few weeks! But even if I forget, 30 mins or so of charge gives it enough to be used for a whole night. As I never push the button to tun it off, as soon as its charged, i pop it in my bag and then just give it a shake, drop a few tracers through it and it wakes up and is good to go for the night. That said it is suck a solid unit and really well made (some might say over engineered for what it is, but hey it makes it almost indestructible). **Q: Does this product come with a case and if yes what kind of case does it come with?** A: Yes mine came with a hard plastic case with foam cut-outs. From the packaging to the heft of the item it is gucci af. Problem for me though was it doesn't fit the smc 9, the fore grip is to slim for it. I'm told you can get barrel extensions etc but the biggest part of this purchase for me was the quick detach (it comes with a 14mm ccw flash hider) and that it would specifically fit inside the foregrip. I didn't even get to fire a shot through it so I can't speak for any of its other features. For anyone else interested as the seller seems to have missed it out- Ace tech website quotes the dimensions at "length 139.3 mm, diameter 42 mm" The image I've posted shows it attached but it's right at the very end of the external barrel's threading.
