The little adapter fits snug in my Nvidia Shield tablet and doesn't even try to fall out. The magnet is not strong enough to charge while you use the device, but I don't think it's designed to. Gone are the days of fussing with the traditional micro USB cables. I don't even have to touch the cable to get it in place - I just hold my tablet to the charger and it snaps right into place; Every time I've tried!Charging speed is great. I didn't buy them from Amazon, so this won't a verified purchase; I got them from the original Kickstarter: [...] I would recommend skimming the 1500+ comments there before buying these.I was one of the lucky ones in that I did at least get what I ordered. Others have been waiting 14 months and haven't received theirs yet. (This is likely not going to be a problem with this seller. Amazon wouldn't stand for that, I suspect. I assume they have product in hand.)One cable worked for a few weeks and died. The other lasted close to year and now, only slow charges my phone. I am not using either one at this time. Neither cable ever worked as a data cable. I only wanted them for their fast charging and quick magnetic attachment, so I really never cared that much about that aspect. I would like to find out if maybe I just got hit by getting early production models and maybe these have gotten better.
