I received new clock and the new one seems to operate ok; therefore I rescind my one star rating and upgraded this item to 4 stars. Hopefully there will be no problems with the new clock.* ### ⭐ CUTE BUT WORTHLESS *by S***E on January 3, 2017* CLOCK HANDS MOVED ONCE UPON INSTALLATION OF BATTERY. COVER WOULD NOT GO BACK ON OVER BATTERIES. REMOVED BATTERIES AND REPLACED. HANDS OF CLOCK HAVE NOT MOVED SINCE. WOULD RETURN, BUT PROBABLY WOULD COST MORE THAN IT'S WORTH. I WILL BE MORE CAREFUL ON COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IN THE FUTURE. ### ⭐⭐⭐ This clock is just OK. *by A***R on January 1, 2017* It's a basic simple alarm clock and it's OK. I'll keep it but there are a few things I wish were different. The "melodies" sound pretty bad but I'll turn them off quickly.
