However, you should be able to use the three-way wiring to provide: 1) always-on voltage to the Fibaro switch to power the two loads and 2) always on voltage to the other switch box to power two separate z-wave remote controllers that would then control the Fibaro double switch via z-wave. For the extra three-way switch wires in the configuration that I described you'd likely need a deeper box which is a definite pain in the neck. If you've got 14-gauge wires it might be made to fit. Regardless, if you elect to use two separate z-wave wall switches instead of the Fibaro double switch, internal box space can be a limiting factor. Also, the Fibaro apparently is not compatible with my Lowes Iris z-wave hub. **Q: Can I still turn "on" or "off" my lights if the switch is on "off" position?** A: if the installation is correct your old ( manual ) switch can be in whatever (off or on) position and the Fibaro will act as a independet switch. **Q: Does this have S2 security?** A: No **Q: can this be used in an rv, 12v to turn lights on and off?** A: No. You can use a dry contact switch to turn on/off if you have 120v available to power the dry contact switch. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best zwave dual relay or switch *by L***7 on July 14, 2024* This small relay it’s solid. I have more than 3 installed in my house and works perfectly. The size is perfect and easy to install. I used with a Fibaro Hub and homebridge. ### ⭐ Where does this even fit? *by T***Y on September 21, 2020* I installed it--as in I got it installed to the switch. That part wasn't hard.However, I have no idea how the device would fit in *any* 2-gang switch box (let alone a single). It just ends up being too much stuff crammed into a too little box. There's no way it would've fit behind the switches had I even tried.I can't say if it works or not. It needs its own hub, which is a stupid flaw of so many smart devices nowadays. It works with Smartthings, as in the hub works with Smartthings. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricier option, but worth it for diminutive size and support for Z-Wave Plus protocol *by B***A on January 3, 2018* I bought two of these to retrofit some light switches. Requires a neutral wire (the white wire in the US, typically) since the device will draw electricity even when the switch is off. If your electrical box doesn't have a neutral wire, you can't use this. I used a community-coded Device Type Handler for the Samsung SmartThings Hub (look for DTH and SmartApps by user @erocm123) which worked great. Wiring is tricky but there are some decent european videos (with different wire coloring) and good diagrams for how to make this work. If you have a 2-switch single gang box (2 switches, stacked vertically, it will be a very tight fit or may not fit at all). The plastic case is a little flimsy and some of the cosmetic parts near the screw terminals snapped off during installation (so minus 1 star for that), but the device itself is well-designed and so far works great! *Be sure you know what you're doing in the electrical box, as you can injure yourself or start an electrical fire. Turn off the breaker. Buy one of those non-contact voltage testers and/or a multimeter and learn how to use those first before you attempt to install this. Be safe out there!There are other Z-wave double switches out there.
