As with all these types of ladders, you need to be careful when opening (ensure all locks click into place) and closing (hold up the rung above as you unlock the rung below). I weigh only 175 pounds + 20 pounds of tools.The rungs are slightly too far apart. A normal step ladder and extension ladder will have 12 inches between. This one is closer to 14 inches between each rung.In conclusion, I would say that this is perfect for home use.Great for occasional use in a trade.Great value for the price.I would not recommend for someone over 200 pounds.
