Just bought an extra 6 pack on amazon for 9.99. **Q: What is the height of the product?** A: Don't know exactly (can't get at it to measure right now) but the handle can be extended so it is a comfortable distance so a medium height person can hold it so the bottom (guard and cutting lines) reaches the ground. I would estimate 36 to maybe 44 inches. **Q: Can I purchase string for this and wind it myself instead of buying the prestrung spools? I have done that for years with my Black and Decker trimmer** A: Yes you can. Winding the sting is not a problem. Putting the spool back into the trimmer is not as easy as your B&D. **Q: I have been seeing reviews that say it's powerful. Does that only apply to the 10 amp or is the 4 amp impressive as well?** A: The 10 Amp is certainly the more powerful of the two.
