Ratcheting mechanism sound like a quality fine gearing - more points of contact. Handle holds the driver heads. I like the racheting drive shaft isn't removable - good, less likely to loosen up and wear down. I haven't checked the driver heads for which grade of hardness, but hoping they last. Functional and takes upnless space.
