It also features extra thick corners to protect the corners of your phone better if it gets dropped. It also features raise protection on the front and around the camera on the back. It has a clear back that protects the back of your phone from getting scratched. I will still get a glass screen protector to go on my screen and this case seems like it would be compatible with one of those installed. The buttons are just a tad stiff at first but get better the more you use them. The silent mode switch is recessed but I can still easily switch it with my big man fingers. If you prefer a softer feel for your phone case then this is not for you but if you like a solid sturdy feel with a easy to grip border the I would recommend you get one of these. The edges are raised much more than other cases of its class/price point, and offers protection front and back.
