I read several reviews about other combs ... *by J***S on December 12, 2016* Recently purchased this set for myself after doing quite a bit of research and looking at other sets of combs/brushes and ended up going out on a limb and tried this one since there weren't any reviews yet. My gut choice ended up being a great choice.I read several reviews about other combs and the comb included in this set appears to have teeth cut very straight and combs through my beard very well even with how thick my beard is (much thicker than normal beards). It is very nice having the variation of the fine and coarse ends of the comb to first untangle my beard and then to shape it with the fine end.The brush is great to use for mostly the top layers of my beard as it is thick and hard for the bristle to get through to the undercoat of my beard. It makes my beard much more straight as well which makes it more presentable to the general public.Overall, my beard looks like it is taken care of and maintained much better than previously and am very happy with this purchase! I'm no hipster, just love my beard and want it to look nice as I am in a professional setting 95% of the time. ### ⭐⭐ Well made but not terribly effective *by H***L on January 14, 2017* I bought this set for my husband for a Christmas gift. Sadly, I had to return it as it didn't work well for his beard. He has a super coarse beard but the teeth on the comb were still too wide to grip even his very thick, coarse hairs. The brush came in a lovely box and made a nice gift but again, the product itself wasn't very helpful on his beard.
