Review: These Boards Are Wonderful - Was a little bit weary compared to the reviews left here, so I'll share my honest experience with these boards. Right out of the box, the surface wasn't that great. Kind of like scuff/grease marks on it, but nothing that would effect the usability of these boards. Just sand off the imperfections with some fine grit sandpaper. I personally didn't notice any severely messed up cuts for the edges of the board, maybe others got a bad batch. I'm sure if I measured it that it wouldn't be perfectly square, but I'm not going to nitpick on that. For the actual etching, especially for the first time, I found these boards to work almost perfectly. I used Staedtler's universal permanent markers to make my traces, and it worked surprisingly well (sharpie works ok but can smear off). Almost all the traces were preserved after etching, and I didn't notice any peeling or have trouble with the thickness of the copper. Other than needing to saw the boards into smaller manageable sizes, these boards were very easy to use. Overall, for the price it's a nice and easy introduction to DIY PCB manufacturing and I will be buying more.

**Q: This picture shows a perfect square but the dimensions are 100mm x 70 mm [ For 'murica boys thats... 4 x 2 3/4 inches ] approx**
A: the PC material was 100mm x 70mm as stated.  As I recall, they offered several different sizes and I suppose the photo was of PC board of the type they sold.

**Q: what type of substrate was used in the production of these boards?**
A: The description now indicates that these are FR-4 boards.

**Q: Is this what i need to replace pad where i used braided copper to remove solder and it removed all of it?**
A: This item is a blank circuit board - it's solid copper on one side and nothing on the other. It wouldn't be a suitable replacement for one pad on a circuit board, but it could be used to make a new one.

**Q: Has anyone used this to create etchings for intaglio printing?**
A: SORRY CAN'T ANSWER THAT..... I ONLY USE COPPER CLAD BOARDS TO MACHINE THE TRACES AND COMPONET HOLE SIZES ON MY CNC MILL FOR THE PROJECTS I DESIGN ON MY CAD SYSTEM........  THIS METHOD WORKS GREAT FOR ME IN THE EVENT I NEED TO CHANGE SOMETHING......

Perfect sizing. They arrived stacked on top of each other so most of them came slightly scratched, not an issue for me personally since I’m using them for large sized traces along with dissolving most of the copper off the board itself. Aside from the light scratches look good and function exactly as expected! Unless you’re planning to make super small tiny traces, I’d recommend them
