Review: Buy the Baldwin filters, oil and fuel, as alternative to the OEM (higher cost) Universal filters for my Universal M12 diesel. No problems with fit, small access area on my engine. One issue, the filters are not wrapped with a protective film to keep the rubber gasket protected. Since I pre-buy for the season (Great Lakes sailor) I just wrap them in Saran Wrap or keep them in a ziplock bag. Good filter, good price, satisfied.

I’ve purchased thousands , yes thousands of Baldwin filters . Cut open hundreds during engine analysis and ran thousands of oil samples, never once had a filter related problem . If you want a filter that will cause a failure use a fram, want the best filter for a reasonable price , use a Baldwin .
