It's much quieter than my last machine, and makes wonderful bread. It's very easy to get a loaf out of the tin and you can choose the colour of crust you like best and the size of your loaf. The gluten-free settings will be great for when my granddaughter visits, and I've made a few successful cakes in it too. Only one downside for me; the print for the programmes is too small for me to see comfortably. I find that a bit of a struggle. But while I was searching for the right breadmaker, I found one that had much bigger print which was very easy to see - but, it only had one gluten-free setting. So swings and roundabouts. I love my breadmaker 💘 Review: Excellent product - There are cheaper alternatives but they have a very limited life and no spare parts are available to purchase. This is the second one of these machines I have purchased. The first machine became faulty after about 8 years so I bought another one immediately as I now only eat home made bread. If you want to repair a faulty machine, spare parts of some of the components are available from Panasonic but these are things like the bin or the paddle. There are no companies that repair the machines.
