So it is not what so called JIS spec. HOWEVER, we are planning to launch the kit with JIS bits. We already have those in stock here in Torrance CA. The model number for those is TX76U and TX79U. The bit contents is also slightly different from this Japanese domestic model. Torx bits are included in the US model. **Q: What is the diference between Tx76u and Td76u (both Straight Type)? is it good for EDC?** A: Not sure on the difference between them, but it is a good EDC driver. I like that it stores 2 bits on the handle, you can slip it in a pocket and hardly know it is there. If you need more than 2 bits, the little bit carrier isn't too bulky. Wish it came with more bits. *by A***R on September 20, 2025* This is the lowest-profile ratchet screwdriver I've been able to find, and it works great! While the ratchet teeth are coarse, the mechanism seems strong. Having the extra bits stored in the handle is also nice. One thing to note - the included bits are extra short. So while you can use other bits, even normal stubby bits have about twice as much hex shank and will stick out much farther.
