The hardest part of the installation was removing the fasteners holding the rubber trim on the underside of the hood. I would have just removed the four fasteners where the holes of the bug deflector lined up, but that's not what my husband did.The bug deflector held up well during the 1000 mile trip we took just after installing it, so I have no dounts that it will be fine long term. I'm really happy that we went this route instead of getting the deflector from the dealership.
