The metal clasp and mount is solid metal which makes it strong and heavy. I originally got this because it was the only design which had a mounting plate which allowed the camera to hang lens directly down using a protruding joint. Rather than the rest which use a sloppy and loose clasp on a tiny 1/4-20 screw. The strap feels nice and it is wide enough to spread the weight. However it is far too short, even with it fully extended. Plus the strap lacks a curve which allows it to fit snug onto the left shoulder. It is a great design, if only they considered a few things.Pros:- Solid metal construction- Ball joint clasp- Mounting base with non-slip grip- 6 possible 1/4-20 tripod mounting holes- Soft strap padding- High quality metal slider loopCons:- The plate blocks the battery door- Mount joint is offset too far to the right from center of gravity- The strap is too short- The strap lacks a curve for diagonal shoulder fitting- No documentation ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars A surprisingly nice sling. *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 28, 2017* This is exactly what I hoped it would be. A very simple comfortable camera sling that is surprisingly high quality. I am thrilled with how nice this turned out to be. My only gripe is that the design does cover the battery door on my Canon T4i so I will have to remove the sling to swap batteries. But honestly that's not a huge issue and I can hardly knock something with a universal fit design for not being tailor made to fit my specific camera model without interference. Besides this design is light years better and more secure than the slings that just have a little screw loop that threads directly into the tripod mount.
