I think there should be and top/lid or something to hold them in better when your pulling out the bags and the cell phone part isn't big enough for new phones so i place it in the bigger area and thats where it feels heavy but once you get use to it , you will not notice it. She usually takes a retractable dog leash and a separate bag for her phone, dog treats and poop bags, so this item seemed like a home run. As others have mentioned the owner/designer of the product overstates the storage capacity for the product. The phone pocket is not large enough to hold my wife's android phone or very much else. The hole for the lead needs to be larger as the cord rubs against the nylon and I would guess that will wear our pretty quickly.
