I purchased all three of these books and much of the material in each book is duplicated. In addition, these books are very expensive at $30 each. Some of the tips are useful but many of them seem to be pulled from tutoring for the old SAT and adapted to the new where the strategies are far less helpful. None of the intuition for the new SAT is taught. In fact, some of the alternative strategies seem to me to be not that much more helpful than just doing straight forward algebra and math. That said it does have some useful suggestions about working out problems in long form and trying different strategies to solve problems. I find the language to be t a bit formal and for this kind of book would recommend the ivy Global series which has all of the sections for the price of one book. My preferred book is still the underground Guide to the SAT which is one-third the cost and is more approachable. That combined with the official ets sat book with sample test and Khan Academy are what I use with my students. I would love to see a series of books that actually has different problems for each level of improvement desired. Full disclosure. To our pleasant surprise he responded within an hour with a detailed explanation which helped her understand and solve the problem. This was on a late Sunday afternoon.Wow!! How's that for having a real concern for the success of kids who purchase his materials. Unbelievable in today's age! In his email he revealed that he has a new and free forum for students to post questions they may have and he or his staff will answer.It's satprepget800.com ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ although my huge improvement in only a month could just be because I am a good studier, it is guaranteed to help you improve *by D***O on Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2018* I only studied this book for a month, along with Khan Academy, my March sat score was slightly above average (1090) with a 560 in EBRW and 530 in Math (the benchmark score). Eventually, with this book I brought my score up to a 1270 for the May sat, this time with a 600 (with Erica Meltzers Critical reading book) in EBRW and a 670 in math. My math score jumped 140 points in only one month and 180 points overall, which is a HUGE improvement for only the two month gap between the SAT dates. This book helped me so much, although my huge improvement in only a month could just be because I am a good studier, it is guaranteed to help you improve, even if it is just by a little bit. Now all I have to do is bring my score up 30 points to reach my goal.
