So do your research, get a couple of 18650 batteries with a charger and you will never look back. I am sorry cannot comment on the run time. **Q: What the plastic tube in the box used for? On the leaflet it is described as a plastic case but it is clearly too small for the torch to fit in?** A: Sorry, not sure what plastic case. There wasn’t a plastic case included with my torch. The torch itself is great. Comfortable size to use. Compact in size. Not heavy. Easy to fit in a jacket pocket.
