These are beautiful whether they are lit or not. The secret is to not pull the wick too high from the silver wick holder...just a tiny bit works great and gives you a flame about the size of a candle flame. The oil lasts for about two days for me before refilling. I like them so much I just ordered the 5 inch and the 4 inch pillar from the same company. The 5 inch arrived and it is great also. The company seems very customer oriented also. ### ⭐ not colored glass plastic covered *by D***R on December 27, 2017* This item seemed nice at 1st however the glass is not colored its covered with green plastic and if the fuel hits said plastic it dissolves.
