A magnet will not stick to it, if that information helps. **Q: What are the diameter and the depth of the bowl?** A: Interior dimensions approximately 3-1/4in (8.5cm) side-to-side, 3in (7.5cm) front-to-back, 7/8in(2cm) deep. **Q: is the handle flat or rounded to fit your hand on the under side?** A: The handle is very slightly indented underneath and very slightly rounded on the top. The sides do have ridged edges but it can be comfortably held by slipping the fingers into the concave area underneath which positions the weight on the hand away from the edges. **Q: is the handle thicker?** A: No the handle is not thicker - same thickness as spoon. Also the handle is not flat. Handle is curved on edges which I find uncomfortable to hold. The spoon is sturdy but I probably would not buy again because of curved handle.
