However, I had since figured out that I could get it to work reliably with it plugged into my phone with one particular side facing up (it won't work when I flip the lightning cable plug in the other way). Since they were out of the color I wanted and I had this work-around, I elected to keep it. I really appreciated this seller stepping up even though they weren't obligated to.****************************I purchased this 6 weeks ago and it's just started failing. There's no fraying or bending as I take good care of it - it stays in my car and doesn't get moved. It just stopped working.
