We ended up using this to completely gut and redo a bathroom in our house. It was easy to use, in fact all underlayment is a very simple job to do. But it maintained a tight seal over the bare wood that was left under our floor. It installed properly without any lumps or any adjustments needed once it was set down. It was a great start to ultimately having the tile placed above it, and definitely helped with making the floor a little more secure, as well as sound and heat proof. Instead of getting a huge draft in there, especially when in the shower, for some reason it helps trap the heat in just a little better. It is easy to work with. Requires a sharp pair of scissors or box cutter. I was told by the person showing me how to do the install, that this is the most thin underlay material they have seen or used. I had one rip and it was my own fault.
