On opening, I found it’s all in a very nice zip case which is also very good quality, and a very nice touch. It looks good in my roll cab. The case holds the tester well and keep it organised, and as an added bonus, comes with some extra rolls of paper for the printer. To use, it’s pretty self explanatory if I’m honest, it’s easy to navigate the menus and doesn’t take much figuring out. Just clamp it on and go. I love the fact that it’s backlit, I’ve had testers in the past which aren’t and they can be difficult to read in bad light. Things I like: - Packaging and Presentation - The storage case/bag - Feels like a good quality item in your hand - Easy to use, and seems to deliver accurate results when compared with other testers and my multi-meter - Backlit display - Good quality clamps, though they could be better as I’ll explain below. Things I dislike: - Battery clamps could go a step further if they were more needle nose, I find it difficult to squeeze them onto some terminals. - Printer paper tears off a little short and often gets stuck and crumples inside the unit. A trivial con really, but can be irritating. Can be overcome if your careful how you tear it off, but could be better to avoid this if the lid had more of an internal guide. Summary: A nice unit to have and to use, I’ll have it for a long time. I find it to be accurate enough, and it all stores away nicely in its bag when not in use. I’d recommend it if you have need to tear more than the odd battery. When the weather gets better and I’ve used it some more, I’ll endeavour to do a video showing it’s use and features in more depth.
