The table on top is wobbly on the smaller arms of my recliner because it is wider than the arms. As shown in the staged item picture, it is resting on a slim arm chair, but it is well balanced and full. I have no doubt in my mind that if one or two items were to be removed from the Organizer it would become unbalanced and tip enough to spill drinks or your snack. I tried putting as much as I could in the side pockets, and then added my drink. I saw that the pockets were too long and rested on top of the seat so I tried to be careful when sitting down; unfortunately my weight on the seat was enough to cause the pockets to shift down and the Organizer tipped to the side and I almost lost my drink if I hadn't grabbed it in time. I guess I could Velcro it to the arm rest for stability, but the overall product just didn't fit well in a smaller recliner. It was also in the way when I tried to get up, with the pockets catching on my clothes and again tilting the Organizer.I offered the item to my sister and brother-in-law who have much larger recliners in the family room, but since they have side tables next to their chairs, they felt it was redundant for their use. It did fit better on their chairs which have wide arms and I could see it being used with larger recliners, but it would still be awkward and in the way if you need the armrests to help push yourself out of the chair (like I do). So, it is sitting in a box waiting for my sister to take it to work to see if she can find a home for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not functional for me. *by R***D on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2013* The product is made OK, but it is not functional for me. I thought the tabletop would be a good idea, but it is made like a box with a lip all around it. This doesn't work if you want to use it as a writing top with a pen and pad. And I found it difficult to use for a drink and popcorn. There is no place to put your arm on top of the armrest of the chair. As you sit in the chair, with your arm next to your body, you can't lift your arm up to reach for the drink, as it always gets "stuck" on the lip of the tabletop. I hope this is clear. I didn't return it, just too much postage. I'll use it for a grab bag gift. I purchased one without the tabletop and find it more functional. I can get my arm back on the arm part of the chair. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Flimsy table top tray solution found! *by S***U on Reviewed in the United States on September 1, 2014* A classic example of a good idea gone somewhat bad. The tray is very flimsy, the only way it would stay stable is to use a flat armed chair/sofa/recliner.So I went over to the Dollar Tree and got a sheet of 1/4 inch poster board. Quickly cut three identically sized rectangles with my box cutters, to match the tray. Smeared on the Elmers, slapped the three together, and Voila! I had a 3/4 inch poster board tray, which is quick stable on my round arm recliner.
