There is a diagonal we've on one side and the other side has no noticeable pattern. It feels like a medium wool shirt--not too thin or thick. Would these work well for "dressing up" little wooden peg dolls? Would like to try to make a few of them for my daughter for Christmas.** A: Yes..... they would work well for that because they are smaller sizes of wool. **Q: Are these scraps knit or woven?** A: They are woven, great small pieces for applique wool designs **Q: What size do these end up after you felt them, please? Approximately, of course. ;)** A: Small projects only. **Q: Will this wool felt or is it washable?** A: I felted the wool with like colors and it washed up and felted nicely. I would recommend this but like with any scrap bag you really never know what will be in it until you get it but you can return it if you're not happy with it.
