I do not know why anyone is complaining about not being able to focus it, maybe they are unfamiliar with telescopes.... they have to be fully extended.The box is well made, sturdy and attractive.And here is NO stinky smell.I liked it so much that I bought a second, and I am buying more as stocking stuffers.The price is perfect for the size and function.I am disappointed with other companies that charge twice as much and more.
