A Squedge is a squared wedge. Squedge rhymes with Wedge.) Wedges make circles, but Squedges make squares. Two Squedges are included in this set. The 22.5 Degree Squedge makes an 8-inch finished square 7.5 inch unfinished) with 16 Squedge pieces. The 45 Degree Squedge makes an 8-inch finished square 7.5 inch unfinished) with 8 Squedge pieces. Use the precise slots for marking the inner shorter pieces. Instructions are included for a placemat quilt pattern, which uses both Squedges in the design.

Good quality.  Haven't used for pattern yet, but wanted to rate product.  (It could be months before I get to quilt!)

The product is what I expected, however the package it came in (which was flimsy) was torn and apparently, one of the rulers was not there.  Amazon did take it back and I am to get a new one.  Hopefully the new one will be intact.
