The speed of spraying is fast yes, but you have to spend a good amount of time preparing (i.e. masking). But when all is said and done, you have a finish with no brush strokes or roller marks and nice, even coverage. Once you've gotten used to it, it's easy to setup and use. The toughest part is making sure your paint is the right consistency. The rest is a case of fill the hopper, prime the system and away you go. The fact you can rotate the tip direction also means you can spray horizontally or vertically, which is great. Clean-up is a bit of pain, I'm not going to lie. I've resorted to emptying the remaining paint, then plugging it in down a disused corner of the garden and spraying until it runs clear from the line. Then just run some clean water through it a couple of times until it's clean and tidy. About 10 minutes all in all. This spray gun is very poor quality — it leaks profusely, randomly stops working, and often spurts in the wrong direction.
