Worked perfect Review: My Generac repair person said he wouldn't be available for at least three months, and my ~2013 20kW Generac Guardian generator model 0058751 would not start. It showed "RPM Sense Loss, Error 1505". I looked online and they said check the battery (it was fine) and next change this out. It was very easy to change (under 30 minutes, and I'm a total novice) and the machine started right up. Probably saved over $300 for the visit, and months of downtime, too. I was a little worried that it would be the wrong one, but it was almost exactly the same as the old one. You might want to get some conductive grease - there was quite a bit in the original connections -- maybe because the connections face upward, and if any water got in the system, it would pool up in the connections. Inspected battery and terminals. No issue. Google search indicated start relay issue. Which is a common problem.Replaced relay back in business just in time for Milton. Reviews were very helpful thank you for the people that posted them. Generator is 6 years old .
