I have 2 very active boys ages 1 and 3 and these blocks let them be rowdy and use their imagination while we're stuck inside. The blocks are durable and easy to clean. My 1 year old chews and drools on them. The quality looks good and durable. The only problem I have, which is why we are returning them, is that they are smaller than I had imagined. Even knowing the specs on the page description I still felt like they were too small for our son. He's only 12 months but definitely larger side, already in 2T clothing. At only 6 inches tall stacking a couple of blocks on top of each other doesn't give you much height to climb which is his favorite activity.
