If you have a longer barrel it will still work, but the barrel will stick out of the bottom of the holster. This cowboy action rig holster is also equipped with a tie down strap to tie around your leg to keep the gun from any unwanted movement. This holster is great for all you sass shooters and re-enactment enthusiasts. It is perfect for all of your single action shooter competitions. Due to the hand made nature of this product there will be some variation in color and tooling. Choose 2 belt sizes above you pant size for the correct fit.(Example 38 pant =42 belt) *Fits just about any 22 caliber including Heritage Rough Rider .22 Caliber Smith & Wesson Model 17 .22 Caliber Smith & Wesson Model 48 .22 Caliber

- Order 4-6 inches larger than your pants size as the gun belt has 5 holes all an inch apart. Example if you wear a size 36 pants then order a size 40 or a size 42 gun belt. The size 40 gun belt will have holes punched from 38-42 inches.
